I really wish we would realize that just because something isn’t offensive to us personally, the fact that someone is offended isn’t insignificant.

Just because something that’s offensive to most black people isn’t offensive to me, doesn’t mean that they are wrong or sensitive.

It doesn’t mean they’re being selfish, or they’re wrong. It means that their tolerance is different than yours.

Bottom line is, don’t put your community down to gain respect from other ones.
